purse is all cake, handles made from gumpaste ( pain in the butt to get to stand up ), entire cake is edible including the chains as they were as made from gumpaste as well, a very painful task, but cool to try out. I used small dragees to make the crown stand out, on the original purse it had crystals so i wanted some shine to kinda match the real purse. the Crown and logo were hand piped. i transfered the image by photo copying the real purse, then i cut out the logo and words and then taped it to plastic wrap and placed over a piece of rolled out fondant and poked thousands of lil holes with a pin, pulled away the plastic and bam a perfect transfer! i am putting pics of the real purse and the cake next to each other in the additional photos. check em out together.
