I made this cake for my father-in-law's 60th birthday. This is a replica of their lake cottage, which he built himself. The house itself is made with gumpaste (on a foam base), tree trunks and a couple of other decorations are also gumpaste. The rest, including the tree tops and swans are fondant. Grass and sides are frosting and sand is brown sugar.
