This cake was almost the death of me! First, I made the dragon out of Rice Krispy treats and it ended up being much larger than anticipated. I spent a ton of time, putting on each scale, making sure that all the details were just right. It took a lot of research and I am grateful to all the CCer's that did this type of dragon before me!! Then came the rock/cave. The first cake ended up in a disaster. Then I decided to use round cakes and this is what I came up with. The MMF is just divided into 3 different pieces and colored different shades of grey. Then I put them all together, rolled it out and just put it on the cake. A pinch here and a pinch there and it turned out just like I was hoping. Pot of gold made out of krispy treats. TFL
