This man was actually sitting in the park on a bench. The picture hanging on the wall is another picture of the same man. The family wanted me to incorporate both pictures into one cake...so that's what I came up with for them!
Thank you all sooo much! It's an edible image..my favorite! I use the all shortening buttercream . As far as getting my cake smooth...I NEVER use the water to smooth, it just doesn't work with edible images! I put my icing on extra thick so that I can makes several swipes to get it smooth & don't have to worry about taking off too much icing. The pan I used is the Wilton Decorator Preferred 11x15. It is a one layer cake that has been torted. I added the drop flowers to help tie in the colors!
