My client was furious over this cake. She wanted a red and black monster truck cake. To her, this screams a girly cake. She kept telling me that he was a boy.. over and over. I told her that red and black were difficult, I'm a full time working mom that does this on the side, but by no means am I an expert. I feel horrible... in fact, it's making me reconsider doing cakes at all... I'm posting it here as my first disaster, possibly last cake....

***UPDATE*** I offered the client a full refund because I was mortified of the situation. The third photo is how she returned the cake to me, not even 24 hours later. It had a huge rip in the top, AND the cake underneath the truck was completely smashed. Not to mention, that wasn't even the box I delivered the cake in! This quickly made me realize how inconsiderate this person was.
