Construction Pals Dump Truck. Cake is carved to resemble the dump truck on party supplies. Cake is funfetti w/Vanilla buttercream filling wrapped w/vanilla fondant. Wheels are rice krispy treats. Dirt is chocolate buttercream w/swiss chocolate cake crumbles. Rocks are chocolate. This cake was so heavy..had to have help carrying it out! Had to use a big microwave box to transport!! Oh, and I supported the cake so you could actually see under the cake all the way through to the other side...so cool! As I was carving, had the idea to add the smash cake/traffic cone. Cone is carved chocolate cake w/vanilla buttercream filling and wrapped w/vanilla neon orange fondant. Then wrapped white fondant around top and added the #2, which are both handpainted to have a "reflective" look.
