I made this as an experiment. I needed to try out the pink champagne cake/frosting and decided to use my friends as guinnea pigs. Taking the cake to their house for dinner. Thank you Adobewife for the inspiration. The frosting tastes good but did not thicken like a normal buttercream, hence the funky texture on the cake. Oh, I forgot to put the finish around the bottom of the cake. Decos are fondant. Appreciate any comments. TFL
