Someone from my husband's work asked if we could make a birthday cake about video games for his son. He asked Sat evening and needed it by noon the next day. Agh! I worked til 9 last night, then got home and looked up ideas on this site. My husband and I got to work at about 10:30 and stayed up til 4 baking, frosting, making fondant and the mushroom out of RKT. Then woke back up at 7 to start covering the cake and decorating. It's a little sloppy, but Im happy with the work we did in such a short amount of time. The baking took forever, but the worst part was that my mixer burnt out :( but i guess that means I get a new one! :D
