Inspired by BarbieAnnPlaysWithHerFOOD's penguin cake. My son saw her cake in the galleries and demanded I make one like it for his birthday. Scratch WASC in rainbow colors with MMF. First time making MMF, first time carving cake and first time modeling figures. Learned a lot. Igloo is carved 6" cake. Middle is carved 8" and bottom is 12". 8" and 12" are six individual layers each. The 8" cake started to settle once I put the fondant on (nevermind that I had left it to settle for 24 hours prior to putting on the fondant...grrrr), so is kind of squishy, but the 12" held up perfectly. Disco Dust Pixie Dust on the igloo, snowman, snowfort and snowballs. This was a lot of fun but very time-consuming.
