Frilly Teacher Birthday Cake

Frilly Teacher Birthday Cake on Cake Central

Wedge shaped white cake with apple filling iced in BC. Notebook made of fondant with tylose and notebook paper is rice paper. I kicked the teacher out of her classroom for about 10 minutes and had the kids each write something nice or just happy birthday on a piece of rice paper with edible ink. I then "filled" the notebook with these pages. Pages are held together with floral wire. Cake is accented with gum paste flowers.

wow!! that is an incredible concept for a cake!! I love it...how special is that! Can she keep the rice paper?

on

Yes, I've made this so that she can keep the notebook and the rice paper. The notebook is sitting on sugar cubes so it doesn't "melt" into the BC. This teacher is awesome and all us parents just want to say "thank you" to her so we are throwing her a surprise birthday party in her classroom. The School's Director gave her approval for us to do this. So my contribution is this cake. I posted in the forum for help to come up with an idea and this is what develped from all the posts. Thanks ever...

SHE LOVED IT!!! She knew something was up but first thing this morning we all showed up with flowers, balloons, breakfast, and this cake! She was in tears and said this was the best thing a class of parents had ever done for her in 18 years of teaching. She really started crying when she realized what the "notebook" said from her kids! Of course she's keeping the pages and the flowers. Pink roses happens to be here favorite too! Whew!

Wow, this is a very cool holiday cake for the teacher, the profession of a teacher is very important, I work as a teacher in elementary school and my students love me. In my free time I work as a remote writer and write essays on various topics at https://samples.edusson.com/domestic-violence, my last topic was about domestic violence, this is a very serious and important topic, I think you should read it.
