This is actually a "practice" wedding cake. Since I don't make cakes very often, I felt more comfortable trying it first and experimenting with it. It has BC icing with a texture to it. On the "real" cake, we will definitely use more icing so that the cake isn't showing through quite so much. The bride actually prefers a more rough look to the texture, so we will be doing it a little different this next go around. Learned a lot!
