This lady wanted two people to share a 1/3 sheet cake for their birthday. On the girl side (top left) she wanted wildflowers, on the boy side (bottom right) she wanted ivy vines, and on the in-between edges she wanted them to be blended together and darker colored wildflowers on the boy side. The girl who took the order read everything back to her and she agreed to what was written down. I make this beautiful cake, exactly what was written on the ticket, and she hated it! "This is NOT what I pictured in my mind!" she huffed. "Why are there roses? I wanted wildflowers! Why are the roses on the girl side the same color as the ones on the boy side!!!" There was no pleasing this woman. I explained to her we are not mind readers, I did exactly what was written on the ticket per HER instructions, and roses are part of our wildflowers unless they give us specifics. Oh she just wasn't going to be able to serve this cake it looked horrible and not at all as she imagined it would look like.

Some people need a good smack...it's a beautiful cake for what she wanted. In her head she pictured it all sectioned off and no roses but manly wildflowers on the boy side. There's only so much you can do on a 1/3 sheet cake. @@
