CSM: Love the border, and your flower is exquisite! As you said, the icing isn't quite smooth, but I still have issues with plain butter-cream. This cake sounds so yummy, too!
:D Great job.... I think the few not so smooth marks is what makes it so elegant.... looks really good... the flowers... AWESOME... I would have flatten the dots with a damp brush to make them smooth and not pointy... other than that... I love it!!
CSM: The smoothness is not awefully bad! the gumpaste flower is simply beautiful. you might have pulled a little similar color to the flower to maybe the bottom border? It sure sounds yummy too. I am wanting to experiment with some Swiss meringue Buttercream. any tips???
