My husband and I made this castle cake for my daughter's 5th birthday. The entire cake is edible. The castle towers are made from stacks of ice cream cake cones and topped with either a sugar or a waffle cone. We used pearl luster spray on the cake, before we ran out of it! And we could have added more detail. However, 3 a.m. came on the day of her party and we had to sleep sometime! It was our first castle cake and I look forward to the next one!
