I made this cake for my daughters baby shower, she is having a boy. This is the first time i have attempted to put a top tier on a pedastal, which is actually a glass vase, I am really nervous because when we have the baby shower tomorrow night, i am worried someone will knock the table it will be on. the top dosen't feel that stable although the board under the top tier is glued to the support .Has any one got any better ideas on how to do this for the next time i do one of these cakes? ( just checked the photo and realised that the top tier isn't on properly. this was just resting on the top for the photo it will be put on correctly for the baby shower.)
