The top tier is yellow cake with white buttercream under the fondant. The bottom tier is two layers each of chocolate chip cookies and brownies (alternating) layered with chocolate buttercream and iced in white buttercream under the fondant. The white fondant is brushed with white petal dust to shimmer (although you can't see it) and the colors of the cake are pulled from the ribbon chosen to wrap the base of each cake. Marissa loved her 16th birthday cake!
