How did you color the cones?? It looks great!
Thanks all! Total decorating time, including the turret construction, about seven hours. The cones are painted with luster dust diluted with vodka.

Really beautiful work. For Diana: I'm sure most of the alcohol evaporated and it was just a deocrating technique.

Yes, vodka is commonly used to dilute luster dust....all the alcohol evaporates so it's safe to use!
