In community album: Cake Disasters
I added this cake in the "First time cakes" category and then came across this category and realized that my cake belongs here.  This was a total disaster. I made this Prescription Bottle Anniversary Cake for my parents, however, as you can tell from the picture the bottom part started sliding off an hour after i baked it. The next morning the whole bottom part had crumbled to mush. My parents loved it, however, when they cut it, I couldn't get a decent slice for anyone..it was all MUSH!!!

It was a great, innovative idea really! Your bottle top came out so nice and the color is right on. Was your cake really moist, or high humidity? Super idea!

The idea's adorable! I had to grin when I saw it, I've served 'mush' before but it tasted GOOD!! Great idea, and your lid is great! :D

Thanks. Yes but cake was super moist and it crumbled in my hands but i know what i did wrong..i wont make that mistake again :) Thanks for your nice comments :)
