This is intended to be an in-line skate or rollerblade style skate. The design was directed by the birthday girl and I think it turned out great in spite of the rain & humidity. My first 3-d skate, I learned a few lessons should I ever be asked to do another. It's tie-dyed vanilla cake covered in buttercream and sculpted along with the addition of RKT for stability. Very heavy cake so used styrofoam block for support and built wheels around it. Lots of gasps, oohs and aahhs from kids as I carried it into the skating rink. Fun to do!
