Thnaks for the comment! The butterflies are done by using a wing template on wax paper then outlining them with dark brown candy melts and then filing it in with the orange candy melts and while they are still warm , before they harden use a toothpick to pull the dark colour into the orange centres to get the swirl wing effect. Let cool completely then set them on your cupcake with 1 m&m under each wing for support and whatever colour you like down the centre. The antenna are done with a template as well.
I love these! I just made some for a bridal show...the ladies went gaga! I like your idea of using the m&m's...I will try that next time!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
