I used a Barbie doll that the customer provided me with. Vanilla sponge baked in a 'tiffin' tin, covered with vanilla buttercream, then covered with marzipan before I put the gumpaste skirt on (hand cut very large petals which were then frilled at the edges). The bodice of the dress is sugarpaste, piped with the aid of a sugar shaper gun thingy!! The wings are plastic and part of the doll!!
