Groom's cake was all milk chocolate truffle cake with chocolate buttercream filling, covered in white chocolate fondant. Icing sheets printed with playing cards were attached to the sides along with black fondant spades. Topper has mini black fondant spades holding up the king and queen of spades, which were attached to a large spade made of gumpaste. Small black spade shapes were piped on covered florist wire to make a spray behind the topper.
