My daughter's grown up with kids of her own and her birthday is the day after Christmas! So it was hard for me to get into cake-baking mode :) This is a simple 8" golden vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. Fondant bow and flower. She loves cobalt blue but I have yet to achieve that color...
