Christmas 2009

Inspired by the many awesome candle cakes here on CC. This was the centerpiece for my Christmas table. All candles are 3" round cakes of various heights, covered in fondant and dusted with super gold luster dust. Purchased greenery, pinecones, etc. There were supposed to be gumpaste poinsettias, but those didn't quite make it, grrrr... I think it turned out okay anyway. First picture is (obviously) with a backdrop, the other is how they were set out on my table. Thanks for looking!
