This cake was a root beer cake with root beer vanilla whipped icing. It really is a root beer float cake! :-) It was made from stacking 5 - 6" round cakes & iced with the vanilla root beer icing. I covered the outside of the cake with a marbled fondant & created the handle out of fondant & wires. The "Ice Cream" on top of the mug is melted marshmallows that I let ooze down the outside before I refrigerated it to keep it solid. I airbrushed everything to give it a sparkily, frosted look. I also stuck a large red straw in the top before I delivered it, but I forgot to get a picture of it like that. I made this cake for my tattoo artist, I hope it tasted as good as it looks! :-)
