Santa and his bag are cake covered in buttercream and then fondant. The top of Santa's hat was formed with rice cereal treats. Santa's beard and other white accents are royal icing. The cake inside is WASC with candy cane buttercream. I surrounded Santa with cookies that I also made and took this cake to a holiday party where I work.
