My sons pediatrician asked me for a cake to bring to his SIL office party. His SIL is a lawyer. I asked what kind of lawyer, the answer I got was "he's an ambulance chaser" .. well that was the inspiration for this cake. The little dog is trying to bit the guys hand who is in turn chasing an ambulance. Chocolate Cake with choco-hazelnut buttercream filling. I had a few sagging issues on the construction of the cake. I used cardboard cut outs but that was not enough. I really wanted it to be off the board and realistic - next time i have to take a different approach. Any advise? I did not dedicate enough time to the cake casue my son was a bit sick and i was run dry - but for a first time ambulance - i thinks its awesome. Enjoy and happy holidays.
