Thanks for all of the compliments, everyone. I've been a member for about 6 months now and figured it was time to take the time to post pix so I could get to know people more. CC is such a great thing!

Thanks again, everyone. You're all sweet. I can't remember the exact tip, but probably a 0 or 1. And I'm not that good at free-hand writing ... I used a projector!

These are gorgeous! And my name is Maria, so I felt like it was a bouquet for me! (alas, I've got only a couple more years til I hit 40) Great work! Be Proud!

Wow, very beautiful looking cookies....you really did an outstanding job on then,If you don't mind my asking what kind of icing did you use?

Thank you so much, everyone. I use a glaze similar to Toba Garrett's recipe for the base coat, and then use royal icing for the details.

How did you make the slice of cake and gift box? By the way these are fantastic and I saved as favorite. I found the gift box cutter and the cake on the plate. Thanks.

This cookie bouquet is gorgeous!! Do you outline in royal icing first, then fill in the cookie with the glaze, then finish the detailing in more royal icing? Also, how do you get the cookies to sit so high (what length sticks)?

All I can say is thank you so much for all of your kind compliments. I had no idea this picture would receive so much attention. Jennifer7777 - yes, that's the technique I use. Also, I start out with the longest stick (11") for all of my cookies, & then cut them down. Just so you all know, I probably spent 10 hours of design work before coming up w/the final look. I come up with a shape, make the cookie cutter, and then get out my practice cookies and work on it until everything looks well-balance...

I hate to repeat everyone else but "amazing" is the word that comes to mind. I checked your photos your work is exceptional. Do you have a website? Could you pm me where you get your fabulous cutters, please! Thanks!
