A quick throw together cake for a family dinner and pre-hanukah celebration. I found my inspiration for this one from someones post on flickr (sorry i don't remember who) the image stuck in my mind, and i used it for the top of the cake. I'm usually a fondant girl, but this time, i covered it in butercream only. I don't feel comfortable with buttercream b/c i never get a silky smooth finish. The design was also piped with buttercream. Inside was alternating layers of coconut and hazelnut buttercream. What i didn't take a pic of are the coins on the sides on the cake, since the dreidel game is a gambling sort i though coins would be appropriate :-) Happy Holidays to all. TFL
