My son's 1st birthday cake. He loves Barney and fish/water. It's a 12in white cake with pineapple filing and a 6in white cake with raspberry filing. Both covered in buttercream and crushed vanilla wafers for sand.
Thank you! I wish I had posted more pics of the sides-that's where all the action is!lol The buttercream I use is pretty fluffy which made it easy to use the tip of my spatula to make peaks. When i made the color I didn't mix it completely so I could get some whitecaps. I put a crumb coat on before the other icing too and that seemed to make it easier. I also used a reverse shell border so it kind of looked wavy. Can't wait to see your fish!
