Hookah Cake!

A friend of my husband asked me to make a Hookah Cake for his parent's birthday (they share the same birthday). Vanilla cake with chocolate ganache. The cake is the bowl and the rest is made with gum paste. The part above the plate is made with styro foam because I did not want anything too heavy up there.

kakeladi, it is just a different culture. My husband's friend is from Syria and that is their culture. His parents turned 61 and were very excited!

my hubby would love a cake like that and i think it's a bit healthier to have this in your mouth than the real thing! :twisted:
