The bottom and top tier are fake cakes and the middle cake is real. All of the decorations, including the flowers and chess pieces, are made out of marshmallow fondant. Thank you to the inspirations on CC! I didn't know anything about Twilight so I had to do some cake research on what theme would look best. I actually finished this cake the day after the Twilight cake contest ended so I couldn't enter it into the contest. :(
