Gumpaste Rose
I made this at class yesterday. Beth Parvu was teaching. I am still in awe that it isn't real and that I made it! All of the flowers in the class were beautiful! Thank you Grandmasweetiepie for letting me know about the Kake Kraft Korner!

Thank you! I still can't believe that I made it! I am in awe! The Kake Kraft Korner is a little cake supply store in GlenBurnie, MD about 40 minutes from my house. The first place i've been able to find a gumpaste class. It was well worth the drive!
I wish I could go there, I would love to do it. I live in N.VA but it's still an hour and a half or so to Glen Burnie. Looks like you were an excellent student!
You couldn't help but be an excellent student in Beth's class. She was wonderful! Go to www.gumpaste.com that's her site. She developed the colors and gumpaste that we used and you can purchase them there. She was amazingly nice and a great teacher!

She gave us a sheet with instructions to make the rose. If I can get my scanner to work I will scan it.
You are so welcome. I wish I had signed up for this class, after our Wednesday class I was so disappointed. At that time I was glad I hadn't signed up, but really regret it. I understand she will be back in April, will defintely be the first to sign-up.
Hopefully I will get in before it fills up too!
