This was for a 5 year boy who wanted batman. Everything had to be sugar free so the icing was hard to work with. Since it wouldn't crust, I couldn't smooth it like a normally do...thank goodness for the buildings around the sides!

What were the buildings made of? they look awesome and how did you achieve that rich black color?

Krazylion, the buildings were made of fondant. I tried to do some in a dark grey & some black but my grey darkened after sitting & it all looked black.
