I wanted to focus on new moon for this cake, but also include elements from all four books - here is the result! Four-tier cake covered in black fondant and taupe marble fondant. Black butter cream bead border in black, parrot tulip in gum paste, apple in marzipan (I knew my kids would eat this later). Chessboard is fondant, chess pieces are vanilla candy melt molds. The clock tower is rice cereal marshmallow covered in fondant, embossed with brick/stone. Volturi draping is burgundy fondant covered in edible varnish. Bottom layer is hand painted , silhouette of the wolf pack is gray fondant. Lettering is white royal icing painted with pearl shimmer dust, as well as frames on second layer painted in gold shimmer powder mixed with vodka. Movie poster scenes are edible and are on all four sides. Cake board is covered in brown fondant and embossed with hardwood floor mold. You cant see the back of the cake in this photo, but each side of the second tier (from bottom) has the name of one of the Twilight books. The silhouettes also surround the bottom layer of cake.
