I used confetti cake mix for the cake and buttercream icing. The pineapple was made with a small, round pan as the base and half of the sports ball pan for the dome top. I handmade the Spongebob from fondant and used bamboo skewers for arms and legs. Since it was for a 3 year old's party, I added the cupcakes to make it easy on the mom if she wanted to serve those for the kids.
