As I am a big fan of this series, I wanted to take a more thematic approach to the design. Each tier represents a major plot point for each of the three primary characters.

On the bottom tier, Jacob is represented with human foot prints going into the woods, and wolf prints coming out the path on the other side. The edible part of this tier is within the leaves on top of the tree trunks. The trunks themselves are wooden dowels covered in fondant.

Edward's time in Italy is on the next tier, complete with dark alley way, fountain, and clock tower striking noon.

Bella's cliff dive is shown on the top tier.

The tulip perched above it all represents the cover of the book itself.
