"Over the Hill" cake for my BIL's 50th. Car is RKT and covered in gumpaste. This was my first time carving, so I'm pretty happy with how the car turned out. It was modelled after a 1970's Corvette...his dream car. I dressed the characters like Homer and Marge because he really likes The Simpsons. Gravestones include names from the series of prank calls Bart makes to Moe's Tavern. Road is made from crushed cookies, and all rocks are candy. The windshield is made from gelatin.
