I made this cake for my daughter's bridal shower, she loved the one on the cover of Wilton. This idea came from a wilton cake decorating book. It is a 12 inch cake covered in fondant and has strawberry filling in the middle. I made the flower's from royal icing . The umbrella was made using the sports ball pan. I made the umbrella handle from melted chocolate. This was my first time to cover a 12 inch cake in fondant. It was actually easier than I thought it would be.
