    I love it, I am making a birds nest baby shower cake. How did you make the nest, is it edible?

    Yes, the nest is edible. I just took a small plastic bowl, turned it upside down, placed plastic wrap over it and then used a #2 tip with brown royal icing and just piped "twigs" all over the bowl. After it had dried, I turned it over, removed it from the outside of the bowl, and then piped more "twigs" on the inside so it wouldn't be so smooth.
