I made this cake for mu husband's birthday aug 2009. this was only the second time I ever really used fondant and it was the first time i made 3-D figures out of fondant. it is an elk / hunting theme. the gun is an EXACT replica of his favorite rifle ( remington 700 ) & the bullets replicate the ones he makes (-he has reloading stuff) so that is why they have green ballistic tips ( this is not standard stock) they looked a lil like crayons though!, i had very little to work with and the fonbdant was homemade MMF, and no tools ect. I made 30 bullets ( because my hubby was turning 30) and only one hour to make and paint them before he got home which was hard I did not have a mold OR any luster dust..
