I made this cake in less than an hour (after baking). I was asked at the last minute to make a cake for a man that likes the mountains, fishing and camping. This is what I came up with from what I could find in the home.
Fondant used to cover cake. However, I made the mistake of putting it in the refridgerator and the fondant cracked. Bummer! The rocks are chocolate covered candy. Glad you like it! Thanks!
The cattails are toothpicks with brown colored fondant. The green stocks of the cattails are gummy straws that I slit in fours except for the end where I put the toothpick through. It worked out kewl!!
