Lightening McQueen slides into cactus. The cake is white almond and iced in chocolate buttercream. The cactus and boulders are candy clay fondant. The prickles of the cactus were made with a toothpick while the fondant was still soft. This cake was my grandson's 4th birthday cake and the scene from the Cars Movie is his favorite.
