This cake was created with the theme of 'Old McDonals's Farm' for a local theater production of 3rd and 4th graders. It will be served after the play. It featured a gumpaste 'Old McDonald' '3D sheep' 3D pig' and 'pumpkins'. Detailing was with buttercream. We added the tractor and the mudpile at the last minute, and the result was great. This cake then made its' journey about 60 miles to the location of the play, and the children were amazed that everything but the tractor was edible. It was a yellow cake with traditional buttercream icing. My daughter and I were very pleased and wanted to share our photo with you.
