Lighthouse Wedding Cake

Lighthouse is made from pound cake. The top part is made from gum/fond. The top glass part is actual glass with a smaller votive holder inside. There is a battery operated light inside so that the lighthouse actually lights up. Everything is edible except the glass. The bottom is white cake with strawberry creamcheese filling. absolutely stunning! I was just asked to make a lighthouse cake and was thinking about impletementing a working light as well! Where did you find a light that worked for this?.

Thank you everyone! You are all so kind :) I used a little LED light that I bought at Radio Shack. It just slips over a battery (a larger version of one that is used for a watch) I actually covered a small piece of styro and put a little well in it to hold the battery then just slid the light over it . That way it can be unlit easily too.. I made it to where the glass just lifted off . Does that make any sense at all? LOL
