Fuschia Anniversary
This was for me friends parents anniversary. They let me come up with the design as long as I incorporated his mothers favorite color "fuschia". I had a lot of difficulties with the icing...it was so airy and "UGLY". I never have any problems with my BC, but that day everyone went wrong. I managed to smooth it as best as I could, and overall it came out ok. Cake was 8 and 6 inch with fantasy flowers. Thanks for looking =)
Hi! I found your cake picture and had a question for ya. I am about to make a two tier cake, a 6" on top of an 8", just like you did here. I am trying to order a cake stand for it and wondered if you might have some input? I am thinking I will use a 14" stand and put the cake on a 10" cake board. This would allow me to purchase one stand that I can serve cakes several sizes larger on. I am worried though that it will end up looking like this enormous stand and a teeny tiny cake on it. Any comments?
