What do you do/say when that happens on a delivery? Just go to the local store and buy them a cake? Ouch!

Thanks for the comments! This wasn't for a paid cake. It was for the final cake of Wiltons tiered cakes course. I had already done a tiiered cake for the fondant & gumpaste course so I thought I would "challenge" myself w/ a topsy turvy. I think the challenge came too soon. When I looked at it, it looked like when we hit the bump the one bottom support came up and then collapsed when it came down causing the whole thing to collaspe. My friend had her's in the car next to mine & it did the same thing.

oh that is just so hard to look at, after all your work, what a shame
