This 3 tiered cake was for my granddaughter's first birthday... it traveled fairly well to its destination with just a few minor flaws...the monkeys are fondant, as is the banner with her name on it., and the decorations. It was covered in butter cream , but the second layer (blue) was a different butter cream (I call it Crisco cream) because my daughter likes the Crisco icing better than the butter cream... a compromise to keep everyone happy. It did not travel as well as the butter creamed tiers did... Oh, well! Live and Learn!
