This was my first wedding cake. I was very pleased with how it turned out. Every tier is a different flavor. The wedding party loved it too. It is decorated with fresh roses.

how many days in advance did you prepare for the cake and did you freeze the cakes before they were decorated. great job, it is so pretty. I'm going to make my brother's cake for his wedding but i just wanted some tips.

I did freeze the cakes. I only had a 2 week notice and I think I started baking about 5 days early. It took a day to defrost and a day to ice and then I set it up. It took about 2 hours to set up. My husband helped a lot with it which was great!

What kind of cake stand did you use....pillars and plates, or tall tier cake stand maybe? Really pretty cake!
AGSkelton 4/20/05 at 6:58am
It is the Wilton Tall Tier Stand that I sent you the instructions about. Thanks for the comments! I am pretty proud of it.

HOLY **** is what I said outloud when I looked lol ! I am so super impressed. The question of cake stands also came to mind, I'd imagine that the table it was on was very stable and off in the corner away from kids running around? lol
