Firetruck cake I made for my friends son's 5th birthday. It was fun and stressful at the same time. I had some structural issues that threw me for a loop but fortunately was able to calm down and fix them. Its a 11 x 15 cake carved up. The fireman dude was made with MMF and the flames, ladder, and water are royal icing. Thanks to Marissa for the inspiration on the truck and Jen Whitlock for the great idea for the fireman with the royal icing water and flames. Overall I am happy with it and hope the birthday boy is too. First time making this kind of cake so if I ever make another one I know I can make improvements from lessons learned on this one!
